1. Introduction

The developer of MTerm (hereinafter "the App") respects user privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the App.

2. Information Stored Only on Device

The following information is stored only on your device and is not sent to external servers.

SSH Connection Information (hostname, port, username) — stored in local database on device
Authentication Credentials (passwords, SSH private keys) — stored in device Keychain (not synced to iCloud)
Terminal Input/Output Content — never sent outside the device
App Settings (theme, font, key bindings, etc.)

3. Information Sent Externally

The App may send the following information to external services.

3-1. Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

When the App crashes, anonymized crash reports are sent to Firebase Crashlytics for bug fixes. Crash reports do not include SSH connection information or terminal input/output content.

3-2. Usage Data (Anonymous)

For app improvement purposes, anonymized events such as connection success/failure are recorded. Individual information such as connection hostnames or usernames is not included.

3-3. Push Notifications (Optional)

If you enable push notifications, APNs device token and device name are registered with the developer's server. No SSH connection information is sent.

3-4. Sign in with Apple (Optional)

If you use the sign-in feature, an anonymized user identifier provided by Apple is received. Email addresses and names are not collected. You can also use the App without signing in.

4. Information NOT Collected

The App does not collect or transmit the following information.

SSH connection hostnames, IP addresses, or port numbers
SSH authentication passwords or private key contents
Terminal input/output content (including command history)
Personally identifiable information (name, email address, etc.)

5. Purpose of Use

Collected information is used only for the following purposes.

Bug fixes and quality improvement of the App
Delivery of push notifications (only if enabled)
Subscription management (only if signed in)

6. Third-Party Disclosure

The developer will not provide personal information to third parties without user consent, except as required by law.

7. Third-Party Services Used

The App uses the following third-party services. Please also review each service's privacy policy.

Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting)
Firebase Analytics (anonymous usage analytics)
Apple Sign In (authentication, optional)
Apple Push Notification service (push notifications, optional)

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Policy Changes

The developer may change this Privacy Policy as necessary. If there are significant changes, we will notify you within the App or on the website.
